One of my favourite cities is Lisboa the capital of Portugal. Here you’ll find a current list of known halal food places and also some non-halal food places worth visiting and a little travel guide at the end. Comment if you found it useful

Adventures

A visit to Lisbon is not complete without heading to Belem and once you’ve explored the local Museums (the Earthquake one is particularly interesting), Jeronimos Monastry and climbed up the Torre de Belem you cannot leave until you have visited Pasteis de Belem. Yes, the queues can be big but the service turnaround is quick and the place is a veritable maze.

Aside from great Pasteis de Natas they serve great coffee and other brilliant pastries and sweet treats too…here’s evidence of that greatness:

There are quite a few Manteigaria bakerys in Lisbon, they cook their Natas daily so they are fresh. I’m going to say it, their Natas are better than those in Belem and their galoa is amazing! Enjoy.

Finally, pretty much all the food at all the places we went too (no, not everywhere on this list, but we’ll work our way through it all eventually) was great. My personal fav was Pak Grelha, the mutton biryani I had was amazing
